Oracle will be demoing Developer/2000 release 5.0 at Oracle Openworld in San Francisco early November. They will also be previewing Oracle Power Objects 2.0 which I think will become Oracles primary development environment over the next four years. They salse force would like you to assume that Developer/2000 will be their primary development tool, but I don't think so. OPO is a much more complete product and will work better with Oracle 8.0 which is object based, so don't put all your eggs in Developer/2000 although it will be Oracles primary developement environment for the next two years.
