Position: Logistics Analyst

Job Description:

Requires BS in Computer Science or equivalent. Must have 4-8 years IS experience and knowledge of Oracle V6/Oracle 7 RDBMS, including SQL*Plus, Oracle Reports 2.0, SQL Forms, SQL*Net, Unix/shell programming. Manufacturing support experience is required. Excellent communications and organization skills are essential for this position. Prefer MS in Computer Science or related field. Must have experience with EDI and supporting logistics organizations.

This position plays a key role in support of a dynamic worldwide logistics organization. Develop and support custom modules and reports, enhancements to Oracle Manufacturing applications and shipping functions, multi-site distribution, warehouse management, and design and development of new shipment Manifest system to work with Oracle. Participate in team to integrate PC-based Manifest system with other applications, including manufacturing, Buy America, Duty Drawback, and export administration tools. Manage EDI program for shipping to increase visibility of shipments for Cisco's customers.
