New Oracle Newsgroups <----------

Hello, everyone!

The official command to create the four new newsgroups created by the recent vote has been posted by David C Lawrence on October 10. They may not be created at your site for a few days (and maybe weeks), but you might start looking for them.

If they don't show up after a reasonable period of time, then you will need to contact your system administrator to get the groups.

Once you find the new groups, please post there, but also cross-post your articles to comp.databases.oracle so those unable to read the new groups will be able to read and respond.

Comp.databases.oracle is scheduled to be removed in two months, on December 10. That doesn't mean it _will_ go away, since many site administrators are slow to remove groups.

Please be patient during this cross-over period. It may be a bit trying to get everyone moved over to the new groups. And thanks to all who voted. It made all the work worth it.
