Password Aging

I know that Oracle doesn't support password aging as a basic function, so does anyone know of a third party package that I can link directly to the Oracle kernel (or via API's) to accomplish this. My company has a requirement for password aging, and I have many different development teams about to embark on writing their own security modules. I dread the thought of this and I am desperate to find a solution at the database level. We have no middleware or TP monitor and are unlikely to get either in the next 12 months.
