Oracle Reports 2.5 (lexical references) question

We have a report running under Oracle Reports 2.5.

This report uses a couple of lexical references whose values are passed from Oracle Forms using Parameter List.

One of the lexical references is used to pass the where clause to the report. When I pass a parameter to reports with an embedded blank space (e.g. CCW 1) in the value for the database column, reports is aborting without any error message. Has anyone encountered such a problem?

Any help would be appreciated.
