Has anyone any experience in converting from CASE Dictionary 5.1.8 repository to the
Designer 2000 1.2 (6.0.8 Repository) and/or Designer 1.3 (6.0.9 Repository). After
conversion invalid object id errors (CDI-21500) occur. The solution I have been given by Oracle support is to track down the offending objects and delete them from the repository. Problem is that in order to delete a single item it requires that all dependent objects be deleted. If you start with multiple invalid object ID's then pretty soon the CASE models become virtually useless, it would be easier to start from scratch.
I'm desperately hoping someone has figured out how to perform the conversion without creating the invalid objects in the first place. Received on Tue Aug 20 1996 - 00:00:00 CEST
