How to link a .SCO program with a .PCO (procobol) program?

In VMS, I have a Cobol program calling a PCO program. Linking them
with LNPROCOB seems to work fine.
However, LNPROCOB does not link an SCO program with PCO program. It
gives lots of "Undefined symbols" messages.
Although linking is successful with
$Link scoprog, pcoprog, ora_sqlolb:sqllib/opt (where scoprog is the
sco program calling pcoprog, the pco program), the pcoprog does not
work any longer. The SQL SELECT statements in the .PCO program do not
seem to return any data.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
