The Oracle Server is ready for year 2000 since version 5. The internal storage of dates in Oracle can store centuries from near 4000 BC to 4000 AC.
But in the forms, you can get problems if the date inout fields are in the from mm/dd/yy. If, in the year 2000, the input, for example, 05/20/00 the date inputed will be 05/20/1900.
To work around change the input masks to dd/mm/rr. The rr format to year means that a year grater than 50 will be in the 19 century. And a year lower than 50 will be inserted with the 20 century.
