Record wind for Boulder is 147 mph (!) set in 1973. Don't know where it was, exactly. Somewhere in the south part, I think.

As for snow, our winters here have been mild as of late. However, presumably the chaotic effects of global warming will kick in eventually, and we'll get even more extreme weather patterns -- hot and cold.
