Data Warehouse/Distributed DB/Architecture  Design & Implementation
Leadership Requirements:


    
  
  •   Degreed professional with 10 years application development/DBA
      experience
  
  •   Minimum 4 years with Oracle relational DB's and tools
  
  •   Must be available in August 1996
  
  •   Contract expected to continue for 12 to 15 months
  
  •   One year experience with distributed DB issues in a production
      environment (preferably a data warehouse application)
  
  •   Experienced with DBA and application development (preferably in a
      distributed data warehouse environment)
  
  •   Preference will be given to those who have specialized in data 
      warehouse server based development
  
  •   Key required skills:
    + Ability to design and implement a distributed database utilizing
        multiple data dissemination strategies
    + FTP

    + Oracle replication and DB links
    + Knowledge of Unix
    + SQLOADER

    + SQLPLUS

    + PL/SQL

  
  •   Highly desired skills:
    + Experience with Oracle Parallel Server
    + Oracle 7.2 & 7.3 Parallel features
