TableSpace And Database

Hello all


        I am a newbie to Oracle database. I am running oracle 7.1 on a NT 
server. After reading through the manuals, I still haven't have and idea about 
 creating a new database associted with a few tablespace. I know i can create 
a tablepspace and its data file. And i can also create a database and its data 
files. But i don't know how they are link together. Can someone out there give 
me a hand on this ? :>



ps : ORCL database exist and had create a new instance for this new database.
