You needed to install the everest patch before you completed the install. You will need to remove what you have done already and do the following:

  1. do the install all the way up to and including rootpre.sh
  2. install the everest patch (you get this from Oracle). It should have come with the distribution of the RDBMS.
  3. complete the install.

This is common for ODT 5.0 install of the RDBMS 7.2 and lower. It is not the case in 7.3.2.1. Received on Wed Aug 14 1996 - 00:00:00 CEST
