We've upgraded to Designer/2000 V1.3. Along with the new version
the oracle.ini file is no longer needed. The V1.3 uses the
Registry (we are using NT 3.51). Our fileserver is a HP/UX R.9
using TCP/IP and SAMBA.
After the upgrade to V1.3 the Designer/2000 tool can't read or
write any files on the fileserver using the registry entries.
(especially FORMS45_PATH and ORAPLSQLLOADPATH) The reading of
icons (TK23_ICONS entry) over the lan works fine.
Connecting two NT workstations and reading from a mounted drive
works fine.
Any suggestions ??
