Hi,

Please reply with a copy to my email address please!

Ok, Question ? Give that the Mac PPC now supports multi-threading, is there any reason why it would appear that Personal Oracle 7 will not allow the Mac to act as a remote Server of data ?

I started to see how to configure my Mac, and quickly realised there is no mention of a Server ID anywhere, and that there was no listener controls.... and from the documentation set, it looks like TCP/IP can only operate in a client mode. Could someone from Oracle confirm this please ? (I hate to raise a TAR given that it is so much hassle!)

Although I can appreciate that the Mac used to be considered singletasking, I think 7.5 introduced multi-threading, which makes it very easy to write multi-tasking apps - Is there any chance that there is an upgrade in the pipeline ?

 Cheers,
