[Q] Subprocesses and Oracle (Pro*C++)

Hi,

I run a Pro*C 2.1 program that forks a subprocess to a run a task that has nothing to do with Oracle. Nevertheless, the subprocess "inherits" the parent's data (SQLCA, the DB connection). So when the subprocess terminates, the DB connection is closed/lost.

Any ideas how to solve this? And keeping the subprocess?
