If I read this correctly, you've got a 4-CPU SparcCenter 1000 with (only) 128MB of RAM and you've allocated about 2/3 of your physical memory to the SGA? I strongly suggest you review the Oracle7 Installation and Configuration Guide for your platform where I'm sure you'll find a recommendation that the SGA not exceed 1/3 of physical memory.

As far as SGA sizing is concerned, bigger is not always better. Its size is determined by how the instance is to be used, ie., the application. Read the Oracle7 Server Reference Guide section that describes init.ora parameters db_block_buffers, shared_pool_size, and sort_area_size. That will at least get you started.
