A nice PL*SQL Problem..

Dear World !
I encountered the following problem:

When trying to execute a select with a sub-select or with a join, in PL*SQL ver 2.2.3.0.0 through DBLink from Oracle 7.0.16 on a VAX/VMS ver 5.5 to Oracle 7.2.3.0 on Dec Unix 3.2d. We are getting the following errors: ORA-04052, ORA-00604. When trying to do the same select from SQL*Plus, there are no problems, also when using a View or when not using a sub-select. And it gets more interesting.. we can perfectly call the view using the PL*SQL..

Needless to mention that this link worked perfecly on a previous version (7.0.16) instead of the current one (7.2.3).

Any ideas or suggestions to keep the previous method, that we prefer, would be appreciated.
