Dear all,

I found that in Oracle V6 manual, it states clearly we can compare tuple values.
Let say (A,B) > ((2,3),(4,5)). It is supposed that the comparsion could be done according to the lexicographical ordering. But actually it's not working in neither Oracle v6 nor Oracle v7. In fact it is possible to compare for equality, i.e. something like "select A,B,C from relation where (A,B,C) = ((2,3,1))".

Anybody can help or comment?

Thanks,
Wilfred. Received on Mon Apr 29 1996 - 00:00:00 CEST
