Query regarding compilation of PL/SQL code

I have a stored procedure written in Oracle 7 , PL/SQL 3.1.3.5.1 which is around 6500 lines. Whenever is compile this procedure which is ina package, i get the error message as given below :

ORA-06501
PL/SQL : internal error arguments [] [] [] [] [] [] []

When i see the help for this error i don't get any cause and action to fix this error. Please help me out and give me some solution.
