Hi!
I would like to know how you can compare varchar2 fields without
case-sensitivity in an Oracle 7 database.
I have tried to use the UPPER command on both sides in a
where clause, but it seems to affect the indexes on the tables.
Is there a way to compare these fields and still be able to use the benefits
of the indexes on those fields?
I would be greatful for answers,
Peter Wik
