Some users (myself included) have had persistent problems with ORA-4031 errors in 7.2.2.3 & 7.2.2.4. These are caused by known bugs dealing with the coalescing of free space. Some but not all of these are fixed in 7.2.3. I would recommend bypassing 7.2.2.x and going to 7.2.3. If you encounter ORA-4031 errors in 7.2.3, a patch should be available. The last of these bugs will be fixed in 7.3, due out in several months according to the last news I heard.
