I'm trying out Power Objects on Mac. So far I am just using Blaze to
work my way through the Oracle Power Objects Handbook by Kolst and
Petersen (which I am finding to be very helpful).
I notice that some things don't work quite like the book says and I am
wondering whether that is because I am using the Mac version. In
particular, the book and the online help say I can move a Blaze column
name in the table edit window. I ge the cursor to change to a hand as
they describe, but the order of the names doesn't change after I drag the
hand. Also, the online help says I can change the column names of a Blaze
database by simply editing the table edit window. That doesn't seem to
work. (Page 185 of the Acrobat-ed user manual says "You can change the
name of a column at any time." -- I am impressed that all the text in the
500 page user manual seems to be in the online help system as well, and
quite accessible.)
