In 7.2 there is the DBMS_JOB package, which does just this. You can queue upto 10 "jobs" (pieces of PL/SQL) for later execution. You can specify that they should run at regular intervals. This is documented in chp. 7 of the Server Administrator's Guide. Regards, Torfrid
