highlighting records in a multi-record block

OK, I know this has been discussed before, but hasnt ANYONE gotten this working?
I have a requirement for a form which autoqueries every 15 mins, and should then highlight those records which have been found in the most recent fetch.
Logically easy.
Physically impossible?
How can I tell Forms to give a different Visual Attribute to records 2, 4 and 5 than used by records 1,3,6 and 7?????

Suggestions most welcome.
