Suggestions? Connecting Modem to Oracle Database thur internet Chameleon?

I would like to try and configure SQL Net to allow me to log into my database on a RISC 6000 thru the modem. I am using Chameleon to connect to LAN at work. Is this possible since Internet Chamneleon creates the TCP/IP connection? If it is, how hard is the configuration? Running Oracle Designer 2000 tool at home on a Windows 3.1 machine.
