To echo someone else on this thread you do need to get out more! Pull the executive summary of the benchmark from www.tpc.org. This will show that both the oracle and sybase benchmarks required approximately 800 Gb of disk to support the database.

The tpc was organised precisely to avoid bozo comparisons like the ones you are making. Before posting any more I STRONGLY suggest you go visit the tpc web site.
