Losing sequence numbers

It may be due to 2 reasons (to my knowledge).
- Your application might handle wrongly.
- Or U may be frequently shutting down the DB or yr instance aborts frequently. In this case lose of seq. numbers or more , that too when U have defined more sequence cache buffer.
Please study the situation at which this happens and if it happens take action accordingly. You may reduce the cache buffer (seq).
