Re: Oracle RDBMS and Solaris 2.5

I was able to run 7.2.2.3 without any noticeable problems under Sol 2.5. 7.2.2.4 is not a Solaris specific update as it has appeared on other platforms. According to the bug list/fixes it appears to be a Oracle generic fix.

bug 252716 Mandatory not null constraints is not violated when two triggers are created  

bug275335 ORA-600 [17271] is not in the alert log  

bug277271 ORA-01499:table/index cross reference does not fail when clusterkey+rows > cluster size  

bug281047 ORA-600 [6588] [10] and ORA-6000 [6588] [3] no longer generated  

bug282541 Undo is not discarded by the data layer due to undo record corruption  

bug301607 DB link in a package in 7.1.4 pointing to 7.2.2 does not give ORA-600 when compiling  

bug310835 Corrected binary traditional Chinese message file
