I contract with a Reinsurance company in Newyork in the capacity of DBA. I have used Oracle on Netware in the past. My experience has not been very good.
Oracle seems very unstable on Netware.
Oracle does not seem to unload itself clean.
Hogs on resource if Oracle is unloaded and reloaded without
booting.
SQL*Net is very unstable too.
SQL*Net 2.1.3 and 2.1.4 hangs. (Patches available)
Oracle support team seems less than intellegent in helping
Netware related problems.
