Hi there,
When I first started using PL/SQL it was in forms4.0 and what I did was load up all the demos that come with the application - like Othello and Chess. Then I converted them from binary to text - which gives a text version of the form, and printed the code sections out. This was really useful cos I got a good idea of what was happening, and then created some test forms to do really basic things.
Hope this is of some use to you, and that you get to grips with it soon. Once you get going you'll be fine, its pretty straightforward.

By the way, if you have any background knowledge in Ada, you'll get the hang of PL/SQl pretty quick.
