Oracle WEB Server Question

Hi All,

I would like to pose a question regarding Oracle Web Server...

If a site had multiple servers on multiple machines, would it be possible utilising the distributed database option, to service the Oracle Web Server with data from the other servers in the network?

Basically, rather than utilise a large UNIX server the site would like to spread the load, with a WEB server as gateway...
