I migrated a version 6 database into an Oracle7 database. No problems at all...but make sure that you specify that both grants=y and constraints=y, since by default they will not be exported when you do the export in Oracle 6.

Before you import into Oracle7, pre-create the tablespace shells into which the data can be loaded. Space allocation for the Oracle 7 tablespaces must be a bit more than those for 6. My platform was AT&T SVR4 & Oracle 7.1.4.
