Removing a Field

If I have established extensive referential integrity on a table (and don't want to disable all "known" instances of it), is there anywhat to remove a column (field) from a table?

If I didn't have the intergrity to worry about I would just recreate the table using a temp name and a select to copy over all field except the one I wanted to remove.
