Hash Cluster Bennies

I was thinking of using the clustering capabilities within Ov7. I have office mates who tried Clustered indexes with Ov6 and abbondoned them do to performance problems.

I just want to apply them to improve performance on table joins.

My qustion is:

Do they really improve performance on joins? What are the negative impacts or pitfalls of using hash clusters in Ov7.
