We had exactly the same problem (i.e., program core dumps with segmentation fault when connecting to database). The culprit was /usr/ucb in the user's path before the SPARC compiler. Took /usr/ucb out of the path and the application worked fine. Received on Tue Jul 25 1995 - 00:00:00 CEST
