Oracle Reports 2.x Question

I have am trying to build a report that has several columns of data that looks like this:
OWNER ACRES Field 1 Field 2 Field 3 Field 4 Field 5
Field 1, 2, 3, etc are not mandatory for each owner. So what I would like the report to look like is
OWNER ACRES Field 2 Field 5
When fields 1, 3, 4 are not present. I can get Reports to print the data above, but my problem is the spacing doesn't work out the way I would like. I get:
OWNER ACRES Field 2 Field 5
Which isn't what I want... Any ideas on how to collpase the text?
