SQL database access using DEC ODBC

Hi there,

I was asked to use MS ACCESS together with Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) drivers to update a SQL database in VAX running OpenVMS V6.1. I found that the ATTACHed database table was READ-ONLY. Can anyone tell me how can I change it to READ-WRITE or it is right to have READ-ONLY for using DEC ODBC to attach a table. But it works fine if I used IMPORT and EXPORT to update the table.
