Your are probably geting redo log waits and waits on check point not complete... If so increase the log_buffer in the init.ora (8 to 32k is small for for big update activity). Next review your redo logs. I prefer at least 4 large redo logs. Note that 'large' is relative to your application requirements. (5 to 20mg is not unusual) Received on Wed Jun 07 1995 - 00:00:00 CEST
