John,

Oracle is available in a couple of flavors for NT. Oracle 7.0 etc.. is for Windows NT3.1, and Oracle 7.1 etc is for Windows NT 3.5. I just migrated to 7.1 and have had no significant problems. There are many useful tools in GUI form that make some of the DBA work easier. Performance appears to be great although I have doubts about my ability to accurately size my SGA. BTW, these are the full-blown versions of Oracle with the parallel and distributed options. There are also personal Oracle products that I believe will work on NT as well. If you can, point your web browser to www.oracle.com and see what they have.
