Oracle V5 and V6 were ported to DOS!!!
Quotes from postings I received:
1. I remember using Oracle6 as a DOS TSR (SQLPME.EXE). It was an ugly
product.
2. support will be dropped at the end of 1995;
3. V6 is compatible with Windows Standard mode, you need to set
DYNAMIC_MEMORY=...
4. Control-Break from a PC client tool doesn't stop a big DB operation
(eg subquery or join) on a server over SQL*Net. "Out of band breaks" are not supported on SQL*Net v1.
