DBA Positions

Database Consultants Inc. of Texas has a need to fill three immediate positions. The project consists of a large scale Data Warehouse implementation using the latest technology. Prospective employees must be enthusiastic, driven, and most of all knowledgeable. These positions are permanent hire. All positions require an in depth knowledge of Oracle 7 (preferable 7.1 or higher). The position requirements are as follows: Security DBA - The person will have an in depth knowledge grants, roles, synonyms, etc. and how they apply to the different database objects(i.e. Packages, Procedures, Tables, etc.). Physical Database Modeler - Must be able to transform a non database specific logical model and transform it into a Oracle 7 physical database model. Oracle Database level object programmer - This must have and in depth knowledge of PL/SQL version 2.0 or higher and must be able to code complex stored packages, procedures, and functions. All applicants will be subject to an in depth personal and technical interview. The individuals selected will be highly compensated. The technology is state of the art and will be career enhancing.
