The parameter name is 'audit_file_dest' and I believe that it may be documented somewhere like the V7 addendum. It might be a good idea to remove these files once in a while.

Also have a look at _trace_archive_dest . This parameter specifies where some of
its error trace files goes to and by default goes to ?/rdbms/log directory.
