Recently in our site there has been a discussion concerning oracle database
backups. We have an Oracle DB of approx 5 gig (including empty
space for growth).
The question has been raised as to the best way to solve a problem of time
consuming backups. Does anyone have suggestions on ways to decrease the
time it would take to perform daily backups of the DB?
