Orphan Processes On SQL*Net 2.1.3

Hi All
Has anyone had any experience with the 2.1.3 capability to delete
orphan processes? We have 2.1.3 running on an ORACLE7.1.3 DB on
an NCR box using TCP/IP and finding orphan processes are still
remaining after the SQL*Net time parameter (currently set to 4
hours). Thank you for any feedback.
