I am currently using SQL*forms3.0 to mimic SQL*ReportWriter in order to present a tutorial to students using the Oracle package at the local college. The system will run on a VAX 11/785 using VT200 terminals, and forms part of a suite of tutorial packages. The problem I have found is that SQL*ReportWriter uses a particular key (F17 in the case of the VT200's) in order to Accept Query. As the tutorial is used, I wish the student to press this key to progress to the next page, via a Key-Nxtfld trigger. Unfortunately this particular key in SQL*Forms is the Clear_Field key and the manual tells me that it cannot be remapped as it is in common use.
Has anyone come across, or can suggest a solution to the problem ? Why does Oracle use completely different keymaps for Forms & ReportWriter ?

Thanks in advance
