Pro C for DOS to Windows

Hello amigos,
I have the chore of converting a Pro C program for Dos into a Windows .DLL
The program was an user exit to take one field, encypt it and put it in a
new field in the block.This was done using Forms 3.0 in DOS. Now, I have
to take that program and convert it using Visual C++ and run it on Forms
4.0 on Windows.
What do this entail? It doesn't sound incredible hard, but I'm just a
rookie when it comes to Windows development
