Hi everyone,
I am trying to use SQLREQUEST in Excel 5.0 to access our Oracle 7.0
database through SQL*Net. However I am in trouble to get the syntax right for the SQLREQUEST. Can anyone, who has tried the SQLREQUEST connection with Oracle 7.0 successfully, write me the correct syntax.
My statement is:
=SQLRequest("DNST:111.222.333.444:Database;DBQ=ORACLE7;
UID=queryuser;PWD=xxxxxx", A5,1, "select * from status", TRUE)
