Powerbuilder is an ODBC aware application. As an ODBC application there is a large number of middleware solutions available that can get you from the Powerbuilder application to the Oracle back-end. Some ODBC drivers include Oracle's SQL*Net, EDA/SQL from Information Builders, SequeLink from TechGnosis,
HyperStar fro VMark/Constallation, SQL Retreiver from VisionWare and DAL from Pacer Software (the company I work for).

SQL*Net is Oracle specific where all the others listed above are more generic middleware tools that also support other DBMSs. If you have any questions on DAL please send me email to the address below.
