Help on oracle

Hi oracle gurus,

I would like to have ur advice and suggesition for the following case: I have access front end to oracle DB. The access front end is linked through telephone lines to the server. Oracle is running on Netware 3.12. Access will have to commuicate with Oracle, to download certain data. This requires multiple joins on the server. The join tables would have on average 20,000 - 30,000 records. I want to perfrom this efficiently, such that the download time will be minimized. Can U suggest ways of doing this.
