Forms master-detail synchronisation - with a twist

Imagine the scenario as follows :

   master block - departments
   detail block - employees

You can 'default' the department block, then default the 'employee' block (using constraints) and Forms builds the triggers to synchronise the blocks : i.e. the employees are queried for the department selected.

However, you can only select one department at a time.

Can anyone recommend a technique whereby you can select multiple departments and then display all employees within the selected departments !!!

Ý Is this in the ORACLE documentation or an FAQ - if not, I can   summarise the responses and our experiences of implementing. ¨
